First impressions about new plug-in
The pre-release testing of FrontEndART’s CodeAnalyzer plug-in started recently with the involvement of voluntary partners of FrontEndART and users of QualityGate.
The first impressions and feedbacks show that the added value of the plug-in is especially notable in connection to source code metrics and code duplications. In fact, the idea of providing this extension arose from the insufficiency of how the original software deals with these two important quality aspects of source code. The plug-in will be released at the end of 2013 and will freely be available for commercial and personal uses as well.
